
The Crown Prince Couple married on 14 May 2004. The wedding took place in Copenhagen’s Cathedral and the wedding festivities were held at Fredensborg Palace. The Crown Prince is the son of HM The Queen and Prince Henrik. The Crown Prince is in line to succeed to the throne and is the regent when The Queen is out of the country. The Crown Princess is the youngest daughter of John Dalgleish Donaldson, a professor of applied mathematics, and Henrietta Clark Donaldson.
CHILDREN
The Crown Prince and The Crown Princess have four children: HRH Prince Christian, HRH Princess Isabella, HRH Prince Vincent and HRH Princess Josephine.
RESIDENCE
The Crown Prince Couple resides both in Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg and in the Chancellery House at Fredensborg Palace.
