Her Majesty The Queen pays a visit to the Faroe Islands the days of 14-19 July 2021 on the Royal Yacht Dannebrog. The prime minister of the Faroe Islands, Bárður á Steig Nielsen, will host the visit.

During the visit, The Queen will have the opportunity to experience Faroese culture, nature and gastronomy in a number of towns and villages. A detailed program for the cruise will be announced later.

Members of the news media who want to be accredited for The Queen’s visit to the Faroe Islands are requested to send an email including name, position, media affiliation and contact information to the Office of the Prime Minister, communications advisor Páll Holm Johannesen, pall@tinganes.fo, no later than 1 July 2021.  When the press program is available, it will be sent to accredited members of the media.

Information concerning The Queen’s planned visit to Greenland will sent out separately.
