ACCREDITATION FOR STATE VISIT FROM TURKEY

At the invitation of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Prince Consort, Turkey’s President, His Excellency Abdullah Gül, and First Lady Hayrünnisa Gül pay a state visit in Denmark from 17-19 March 2014.

The Queen and The Prince Consort are the hosts for the Turkish President and First Lady and for the gala banquet, which will be held in Christian VII’s Palace, Amalienborg, on Monday, 17 March at 20.00.

In addition to the official reception and gala banquet, the state visit will focus on strengthening of the good Danish-Turkish relations, which extend back to the middle of the 18th century. In addition to that, there will be a focus during the visit on green growth and technology, health and welfare, and the foodstuffs and food industry.
  

Approximately 60 Turkish companies will accompany the President and First Lady during the state visit.


ACCREDITATION

Accreditation and pool coverage applications for the state visit from Turkey take place via the IPC (International Press Centre) on the website www.ipcd.dk.

The accreditation and pool application process opens Thursday, 6 March 2014 at 12.00 and closes Monday, 10 March 2014 at 12.00.
