Seminar at Aalborg University in Copenhagen
The King and The Queen of The Netherlands and the Crown Prince Couple pay a visit at Aalborg University on Tuesday, 17 March and participate in the seminar “Sustainability of the Quality of Our Societies”.

The seminar deals with the theme “Insistence on and development of the high quality of life in The Netherlands and Denmark” and, at the seminar, four researchers from Aalborg University and a number of researchers from Holland will focus on and discuss various aspects of the two welfare societies. As fulcrums for the discussions are, among other topics, how a high standard of living, social security and trust can be maintained in the Danish and Netherlands societies with the current demographic and social changes. At the seminar, research in the area is presented, and afterwards there will be a round-table discussion for the seminar’s participants under the title “Happiness and wellbeing – challenges and solutions”.
The King and The Queen and the Crown Prince Couple take part in portions of the seminar and arrive at the university at 14.45.
The visit at Aalborg University takes place as part of The Netherlands state visit on the days of 17-19 March 2015.
