On 1 April 2024, countess and chamberlain Mette Louise Ahlefeldt-Laurvig takes over as the new lady-in-waiting for HRH Princess Benedikte.

Mette Louise Ahlefeldt-Laurvig replaces lady-in-waiting and chamberlain Anne Dorthe Iuel, Knight 1st Class of the Order of Dannebrog, who is leaving at the end of her current term after 7 years of service.
