Change in the Crown Prince Couple’s Court

After more than six years of employment, private secretary and lady-in-waiting for HRH The Crown Princess Christine Pii Hansen returns to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 1 September 2021, when she starts in the position of chief of the Foreign Ministry’s Office of Public Diplomacy, Communication and Press.

Christine Pii will be succeeded by Henriette Ellermann-Kingombe. Henriette Ellermann-Kingombe, who has an M.S. degree in political science, has nearly 20 years of experience with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including stationing with the Permanent Representation of Denmark to the EU, and has also worked in the Prime Minister’s Office and the Danish Parliament. Henriette Ellermann-Kingombe leaves a position as chief of the Foreign Ministry’s Office for Multilateral Cooperation and Policy, where she has had special responsibility for, among other things, Denmark’s cooperation with the UN’s organizations.
