Each year, the Royal House receives several hundred requests for interviews with members of the Royal Family and the Court’s staff. All inquiries are handled by the Communications Department and must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests for interviews cannot be made via the press telephone or by contacting staff members individually.
In the request, please provide information describing the topic, the purpose of the interview and the intention for how and when the interview is to be published. Please note that the Royal Family’s calendar is planned months in advance, which is why the request should be submitted early, with a minimum notice of three weeks. For major occasions, including round birthdays, etc., the request should be sent six months before the desired publication date.
The Royal House is approached concerning video and book projects as well as other inquiries that involve members of the Royal Family or the Court’s staff. These types of inquiries are handled in the same way as interview inquiries.
Basically, projects with a marketing or other commercial purpose are turned down, as the Royal House and the Royal Family do not wish to enter into marketing relationships. Therefore, photos and videos of the Royal Family may not be used in advertising and other sales material.
