The mellow colors of autumn adorn the flower decorations for the gala dinner at Christiansborg Palace on 11 September 2022 in connection with the 50th Jubilee of HM The Queen’s Accession to the Throne.

Danish orange, red and pink dahlias, which are in high season just now, grace the silver candlesticks on the tables, and the dahlias are highlighted by the dark red amaranth from Fredensborg Palace Garden, pink small-flowering statice and orange asclepias.

The strong colors are in keeping with the Great Hall – especially the Gobelin tapestries and the chairs. It is precisely these colors that Her Majesty herself has helped to select.

On the head table, the flower decorations wind up along the multi-armed candelabras and support the gala set-up with a mirrored base.
