HRH The Crown Princess appointed as Honorary Professor

HRH The Crown Princess, on Friday, 24 October 2014, visits Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, where The Crown Princess is given the title of Honorary Professor.
In continuation of The Crown Princess’s participation in a health forum at the university, she is appointed a Honorary Professor. The Crown Princess receives the title for her work as patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, where The Crown Princess has helped to put focus on health development.
In her role as patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, The Crown Princess has also contributed to drawing attention to the need for better health conditions and the importance of prevention of diseases in the WHO region, including in Tajikistan.
The Crown Princess visits Tajikistan from 23-24 October 2014 in her role as patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe. The Crown Princess began as patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe in 2005.
