Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess will pay an official visit to Australia from 19 to 26 November 2011.

The Crown Prince and the Crown Princess will head a Danish export and culture promotion under the theme “State of Green – Join the Future. Think Denmark”. Accompanied by a business delegation the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess will focus on Denmark’s leading position within green energy and technology, sustainable living and food technologies.

The visit marks the strong cultural and commercial cooperation between Australia and Denmark. Hosted by the Governor-General Her Excellency Quentin Bryce, the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess will begin the official visit in Sydney followed by a visit in the government city Canberra after which they end up in Melbourne. As a part of the program the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess will meet Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

It is the second time the Crown Prince Couple pays an official visit to Australia. The first official visit took place in 2005.
