HM The Queen and HRH The Prince Consort welcome Turkey’s president, H.E. Abdullah Gül, and First Lady Hayrünnisa Gül to Denmark 17-19 March 2014.
A Turkish business delegation of approximately 60 companies accompanies the President and The First Lady during the state visit.

The President and The First Lady are greeted by The Queen and The Prince Consort, The Crown Prince Couple, TRH Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, and HRH Princess Benedikte.

Danner

The First Lady will, together with The Crown Princess, visit Danner, a crisis centre for women exposed to violence and their children. Danner is one among several crisis centres where The Mary Foundation has implemented the project Rygsække (Rucksacks) for children at the crisis centre. The rucksacks contain practical necessities for children and are used by the teachers for conversations with the children about their difficult experiences.
