On the occasion of the accession of a new sovereign to the throne, the flag will be flown on all state buildings and state ships throughout the Realm on Sunday, 14 January 2024.

There is a long tradition of flying flags throughout the Realm for, among other things, special events in The Royal House of Denmark.
