HRH Princess Isabella was confirmed in Fredensborg Palace Church on 30 April 2022. Before the day’s royal confirmation, official photographs of the confirmand, the parents and the three siblings were taken in the Chancellery House.

After the photographing, the family walked to Fredensborg Palace’s main steps, where HM The Queen met them before the religious ceremony in the palace church.

The confirmation took place in Fredensborg Palace Church in the same sanctuary as the Princess’s christening took place in 2007.

The confirmation was officiated by the royal Chaplain-in-Ordinary, bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen.

The Garden Hall at Fredensborg Palace was the setting for the official confirmation photographs of HRH Princess Isabella and the royal family as well as the Princess’s godparents.

In the photo, the confirmand is seen together with HM The Queen, The Crown Prince Couple and TRH Prince Christian, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine as well as the Princess’s godparents, HM Queen Mathilde of Belgium, HRH Princess Alexia of Greece, Dr. Nadine Johnston, head physician, MD, Christian von Buchwald, CEO, Major Peter Heering and chamberlain’s wife Marie Louise Skeel.
