The Crown Prince Family attended TV 2’s birthday show “Mary 50 – we celebrate Denmark’s crown princess” on 6 February 2022. The program was broadcast live from the Vilhelm Lauritzen Terminal at Copenhagen International Airport. In the photo, the Crown Prince Family is seen upon arrival.

TV 2 marked the celebration of HRH The Crown Princess’s 50th birthday with a show that, among other things, presented stories from The Crown Princess’s work with Her Royal Highness’s patronages and duties in Denmark and abroad as well as festive musical surprises and special guests.

One of the guests was Benedicte Lise Vinge, who as a previous Christmas Seal child has met The Crown Princess. Her Royal Highness is the patron of the Christmas Seal Foundation and has previously visited the Christmas Seal home where Benedicte Lise Vinge lived for a time.

Among the performing musicians was Jada, who received the Crown Prince Couple’s Stardust Award in 2019.

Singer Alex Vargas performed a rendition of “In Denmark I was born”.
