The Golden Wedding Anniversary Coach was the first Danish coach to have electric lights installed, both in the carriage lamps and inside the coach itself. The coach’s interior, called the coupé, has retained its upholstery of white silk-satin with Christian IX’s and Queen Louise’s monograms interwoven together with the Danish coat of arms and crowns.
